FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana´s NewsCenter) - A schoolhouse built in the 1890’s is reopening with a new goal. The building was moved a quarter of a mile in March of 2008, to make room for the Orchard Crossing Shopping Center.
The new tenant is the “Esquire Cigar Club.” It is a retail cigar store with an attached private cigar club.
Owner Dan Hoffman wants to provide a place for social networking, and rare cigars. Hoffman says, “From the time you walk in the door, we want a place where you can check all of your worries at the door. Come in, have a drink, smoke a cigar, do some work, have a nice conversation ... just a real nice relaxing place.”
Esquire Cigar Club will host a ‘sneak peek’ on Thursday night. The grand opening will be this Friday morning.
